|
The images below show how an easily
identifiable land vehicle can be covered by
the CI multi-spectral net to hide the
outline and any distinguishing features
rendering the vehicle virtually
undetectable. |

Radar camouflage
|
|
The radar reflecting material and the
irregular surface of the net causes
scattering of radar energy over the entire
range of frequencies and therefore decreases
the platform's radar detectability. |

Visible camouflage
|
|
The net comes in a wide range of colours to
suit any terrain. The colour and the
irregular three-dimensional surface of the
net provide excellent camouflage in the
visible region of the electromagnetic
spectrum. |

Net Structure
|
|
The net is constructed from a highly durable
fabric which has metallic interwoven fibres
running throughout. The open nature of the
net is achieved by S-shaped cuts made evenly
at known separation over the entire area. |

Deployment
|

The net can be rapidly deployed during
periods of perceived threat and also can be
rapidly removed and stowed away when the
need to move arises |

Net Fastening
|
|
The net can be easily fastened to most
platforms through the use of elasticated
loop ties which are positioned at regular
intervals around the edge of the net |

Maintenance
|

The net can be easily cleaned and is
constructed from tough, non-rip materials
which ensures a long service lifetime. |

Minimal Noise

The deployment and stowage of the net causes
very little noise |

|
The CI Multi-spectral Camouflage net
provides concealment of land platforms from
surveillance methods operating in the
infra-red, visible and radar regions of the
electromagnetic spectrum. The net can be
easily draped across platforms which are
either permanently or temporarily
stationary. The nets are available in a wide
range of colours and sizes and are therefore
available for many environment and platform
combinations.
The open weave structure of the net
allows air to circulate through it so
cooling both the net and the underlying
platform. This, coupled with the low
emissivity of the net material, ensures
that the platform's thermal signature is
considerably reduced and becomes
virtually undetectable to thermal (IR)
imaging equipment.
