INFRA-RED CAMOUFLAGE PAINTS
A range of variable
emissivity paints to provide vehicle camouflage
in both visual and infra-red wavebands.
A single colour paint can be applied when a
uniform colour and emissivity is required or,
alternatively, several paints of differing
colours and emissivities can be applied when a
disruptive pattern is required. A wide range of
colours is available, many of which are similar
to natural environments such as forest and
desert terrain.
The paint is also suitable for marking vehicles
with identification numbers and signs.
CI Defence IR paint is a two component system
which can be easily applied with conventional
techniques such as brushing, spraying or
rolling. Once applied the paint provides a
durable coating with chemical resistance to a
range of solvents and excellent colour
stability. Surfaces to be coated should be dry
and free from oil, grease and loose material.
Porous surfaces should be first treated with a
CI clear lacquer.
Colours:
Wide range
including green, olive drab, brown, earth red,
sand and black.
